Saturday 10 October 2026

The Save Hogs Plat campaign has taken another important step in reaching the local community.

Today, Ryan Strong personally delivered campaign leaflets across Rottingdean, helping to raise awareness of the efforts to protect 4.9 acres of much-loved green space.

Ryan and Melissa have been connected with Hogs Plat for almost thirty years, caring for their horses and the land that has become such a familiar part of the village.

The leaflet explains why the future of Hogs Plat matters, the campaign’s ambition to secure the land and how local residents can get involved.

A Personal Effort for a Special Place

For Ryan, delivering the leaflets personally is about more than raising awareness. It is an opportunity to reach neighbours and encourage the village to take an interest in the future of a place his family has cared about for decades.

The campaign hopes that residents will read the leaflet, share its message and help spread the word.

Every conversation, contribution and expression of support helps bring the community together.

How You Can Help

You can support the campaign by sharing the leaflet, telling friends and neighbours about Hogs Plat or making a contribution through the official Crowdfunder.

Together, we can work towards protecting this special part of Rottingdean for future generations.
